From Drake's Blog:
"There have been questions posed to me the last few days about the writing of Best I Ever Had and I figured I’d take the time to clear the air directly. I have never met Kia Shine or worked with him. I wrote the entire composition in Toronto and I borrowed one line from a Lil Wayne song that he produced the BEAT for. The claims of 25% ownership are false and for a artist to brag about splits on a song is distasteful to begin with."

Rapper Kanye West vowed to remove himself from the limelight of fame in an exclusive interview with Jay Leno last night. West offered what appeared to be a sincere, nearly tearful explanation of the events that resulted in him interrupting an acceptance speech by singer Taylor Swift. In the unplanned interview, Leno asked West about how his mother, the late Dr. Donda West, would feel at his actions. West then revealed that he had never taken time to grieve and would eventually take time to reflect and collect himself. West said: "You know, obviously, you know, I deal with hurt. And, you know, so many celebrities, they never take the time off. I've never taken the time off to really - you know, just music after music and tour after tour," he said. "I'm just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else's hurt.” West's behavior helped him earn criticism from the most powerful man on earth, United States President, Barack Obama. President Obama was being interviewed for CNBC when he labeled West a “jackass” for crashing the stage as country singer Taylor Swift was receiving her award. President Obama made the “jackass” comment about West during an off the record portion of an interview.
During a CNBC interview on Monday, President Obama called hip-hop artist Kanye West a “jackass” over his behavior at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Obama’s colorful remark was actually made in an off-the-record portion of the interview that was tweeted — and then deleted — by ABC News reporter Terry Moran.
“Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a ‘jackass’ for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential,” Moran wrote.
Politico’s Michael Calderone has ABC’s statement apologizing for Moran’s journalistic breach.

“According to reports from inside the house, once cameras cut away from the action, West flipped off the crowd and returned to his seat. During the next commercial break, Pink walked by the rapper and appeared to shake her head in disgust before security escorted her away. West remaine
Lil Wayne has another child, as Lauren London has reportedly given birth to their child today. Lennox Samuel Ari Carter was born today and weighed 7 lbs, 12 ounces at 21 inches long, according to reports. Lil Wayne was present when London birthed the baby, according to published reports. Both Wayne and London confirmed that they were having a child together after the constant media attention and scrutiny hit a fever pitch by the fans. The rapper confirmed his paternity last month in and interview with DJ Fuzzy of Los Angeles' Power 106. London pleaded with the fans as rumors emerged that Lil Wayne may not be the father. “Rumors are false. Why won’t they just let us be? Wayne is indeed the father and there’s no question,” she wrote on her Twitter page. “We are celebrating a life.” This is Lil Wayne’s third child and London’s first. Former singer Nivea is presently pregnant with the rap artist’s fourth child.

This is the first time that T-Pain has expressed this level of disenchantment with Jay-Z. Earlier this summer T-Pain joined Jay-Z on the stage during Hot 97's summer. He seemed pleased with the recognition in an earlier interview with MTV.
"That affected me in a great way, man. I made sure I honored him as a great song writer...that's like the best song i heard in a couple years, man. And it's great that somebody that important stepped up and vouched for me."
